Welcome to the Dylan Furniture Blog
Here you will receive walk throughs and step-by-step instructions on most all of my projects.
First off, many asking about why I call it Dylan Furniture and it is quite simple. That is my middle name and it's what sounded good at the time. Side note however, my Dad's favorite artist is Bob Dylan and whom after which I received my name. So, in a way I guess you could blame it on protest music is why I call it Dylan Furniture.
THE MEAT OF IT ALL
So, in this blog I plan to write up walk throughs and plans of each individual piece that I build. I am open to building just about anything. Generally, however, I tend to build small tables and consoles requested by others. Then occasionally I get around to my wife's wish list for our home.
I will be posting corresponding videos on Youtube to go with each blog post. For those of you that are visual and like to watch it being built checkout my Youtube Channel. For those that need a step-by-step list here on the blog is where you will thrive.
Please, feel free to critique and provide suggestions. I am far from a seasoned carpenter and I have much to learn! However, even in the past year I have learned a lot and hopefully these will spark some creative juices and inspire new woodworkers to come to life!
